Certainly is strange. Those flowers will open up in a few days. They might set pods, might not. Get some other angles so I can tell if it's from the leaf stem or if there's a plant stem with a single leaf coming off of it.

That does appear odd. It seems to be a top-down shot, yet the leaf in the lower-right corner is showing the bottom of the leaf. The stem to it does not appear to be twisted, either. But yes, a couple more pics at different angles might help with a visual interpretation. So far, though, it does look like your plant has an anomaly!
