Color Palette

I'm getting several interesting pod colors this year.   Some are crosses, while others may be due to weather and ferts.   My yellow pods are touched with orange in several cases.

In the pic below is a Bahamian Goat pepper that is a beautiful peach/coral hue.   Check out that tail!  It was very tasty on my pizza for lunch.   The flavor was mellow, kind of like a scotch bonnet with slightly lower heat.    Another B.Goat plant is producing pods that are deep orange, almost red.   A third is still green.

If the shapes of the BGs are the same I would not worry, could simply be a level of ripeness, sun exposure or one off. My BG's were pure fire last season and cannot wait for them to ripen this season!

I just tasted Bahamian Goat peppers for the first time this year those are my new favs, definitely in the top five of all the peppers I've tasted!
