chinense "Habaneros"

The seeds for this plant came in a packet of habanero seeds.

They taste oddly like fatali. Strangest hab I ever did see.

Note: The rest of the seeds from the packet grew very normally habaneros.

Are you positive that you didn't get your seeds mixed up? If the rest of the seeds are as advertised the chances of one seed being wrong would be rather small, not impossible but certainly not to be expected. Enjoy your XXX plant :)

Nonoe of the other peppers that were planted are even similar to habanero. Jalapeño, Hungarian Wax, Cayenne, Goat Horn, a few bells, cubanells ,Alma Paprika, thai hot. So ah yeah pretty sure I didn't mix up the seed.

KingLeer is there an orange version? Also the walls of these peppers are thicker then a normal orange hab. Also look a lot more wrinkled then those in your post.

I think I've figured out what these guys are.

The taste A LOT like fatali. Looked a lot like them too. But they are too orange, and too "uniform". The early pods were kind mild being slightly less then a hab. But once it got going the pods were hotter then your average fatali. Then while browsing a seed catalogue I found a pepper that's pictures, and description matched perfectly.

Devil's Tongue

No clue how the seed would have gotten mixed into a packet of habanero seeds. But everything seems to fit.
