Two peppers from the store.. I'm surprised they had em...

These two peppers were for sale, about 8 bucks a pound and there were a lot of them.

The red looks like a hab, but the yellow? I didn't know habs had such a prominent tail?

I have opened the yellow and de-seeded it, and ate a very small slice... hot... hot hot.

I forgot to wash my hands after handling it, and rubbed my ear.. hot ear.

Then I went to the toilet to wash my hands, but decided to pee first... hot

then I washed my hands.... I think I got things out of order.

I have never even found a red habanero at a store.

I didn't expect to either, but there was a huge rack of the reds and yellows at the store, said they came from Spain... great place to grows peppers.

Can anyone say for sure if the yellow is a hab? I'm new... The red one for sure, but like I said, I haven't seen a hab with such a pointed tip like this one. I'm adding the seeds to next years grow list, so want to make sure I get it right as I can.

Could be anything... keep in mind that even a hab from Spain may differ genetically from one in the states.   it's all just labels, there are over 100 varieties of a green bell for example.
