Bolivian Rainbow Peppers

Anyone grow these and how do they taste. I ordered some seeds because my wife likes small colorful plants. If they taste ok that will be an added bonus.

I grew 4 or 5 plants a couple years ago. Obviously, they are beautiful with all the color stages they go through, they germinate easily and produce  a lot of pods. They were fun to grow....but they produce so well I grew weary of harvesting them after the first couple hundred pods
I found the heat to be around mid range, but didn't have much in the way of a distinctive flavor. I blended some fresh ones with other varieties for a fermented sauce, but the vast majority , I dehydrated, ground into powder and used as a heat additive in my traditional red chili.

Are the pods supposed to have blunt, rounded tips or pointy ones . . . or either?  (An image search pulls up examples of both.)

So far on my Bolivian Rainbow plants the pods have pointy tips.  I dont this it makes a difference, points or round the rainbow of colors is what my wife likes.  We use them as accent plants if front flowerbed, I showed her pictures of plant and she fell in love with it.  Now I grow them for her yearly

Those are being shipped from Singapore. You may or may not get them and you may get a letter from the Dept of Agriculture for illegal import instead. I ordered seeds off Amazon from another Singapore seller 2 months ago and didn't get the seeds or the letter. Had no idea where they were coming from until after placing the order. Bummer. Good luck!
