Ghost Pepper leaves falling off?

My ghost peppers have been growing well since planting in May, but now after setting buds I have begun to notice many leaves around the base of the plant. When I gently touch a bigger leaf it falls off. The leaves themselves aren't wilting or drooping but just falling off. Any solutions?

post some pictures  ;)

leaves at the bottom fall off when they aren't getting enough light or because the plant is about to make a new branch out of that node. Both of these causes are normal and no problem.

oi man that thing looks like it needs to be staked up lol.

Seems healthy to me... didn't you guys have a polar vortex cold bullshit last week or something?
nevermind seems like your lows were in the 60's...

hmmm

Yea the lows at night dropped to the high 40s. It didn't seem like anything reallyt took that much of a hit but who knows :/. So I should stake them up?
And how should I stake them up? Like tomatoes or what?

lol why did you create so many topics, i think it could be combination of cold snap / over watering.

can just put a stake and tie it to it yeah like a tomato, or put a cage, watever

Ok thanks a lot for the help. And I'm sorry I've always wanted to grow these and I'm worried they'll die if I don't do something fast. I'm pretty much a beginner if you didn't notice already lol.
