Odd Seedling?

This is supposed to be a yellow fatalii seedling:

The leaves look oddly round to me and there are 3 of them.

This is what all of my other pepper seedlings have looked like with their first set of leaves:

Is this unlikely to even be a pepper or is it just a tad...deformed?

could be deformed, or it could be a different pepper. were they pepper seeds that u planted? ive had some deformed looking seedlings before too

Definitely looked like pepper seeds that I planted, unless something else somehow got mixed in the soil.

Assuming it is a fatalii, can I expect it to normalize a bit as it grows?

I think that's a weed that landed in the pot or was already in the soil. Leave it and wait to see if a pepper sprouts too or if the next set of leaves look more pepper-like.

I'm gonna have to agree with Dave2000 here.. could be deformed, but it really doesn't look like a fatalii seedling let alone a pepper in general. Let us know!

Thanks guys! I will let it grow for now and see what happens. I have a fatalii popping up next to it that actually looks like a pepper seedling so at least I will have one that is hopefully the right thing.

I decided that it was definitely a weed that snuck it's way into my indoor pot so have pulled it out. Thanks for the help guys!
