hot-sauce Who has tried the new Ghost Pepper sauce at Buffalo Wild Wings?

Wow!  Impy!!!  I have yet to try it as when I was there a couple months ago they didn't have it yet.  I am considering going back to try it though.  Welcome back girl!

Welcome back Impy!

There's a BW3 near where I live, and if I get my promotion, I'll be celebrating there, most definitely with their ghost pepper sauce!

Thanks elcap! Good luck with the promotion!!

Thanks! My interview is tomorrow, and I should hear back soon whether I get it or not :)

Hmm... you've piqued my curiosity. I'm going to get some to go and report back later tonight. It is National Wing Day after all.

Oh, and welcome back!

I have had it twice now.

Its the hottest sauce from bww now.

The flavour is a tad dissapointing if you are looking for true ghost pepper fresh floral flavour, but its still a good, hot sauce.

The new fries are good too. Just like mcdonalds.

I had them last week. They have some nice heat to them. I hate the Blazin' sauce, it has heat but tastes like ass, so I usually throw those on the ground. I think the GP sauce is hotter than blazin but better flavor for a commercial sauce.

I'm in columbus, ohio, home to their first restaurant on the Ohio State campus but I think they're rolling these out nationwide so everyone should be getting them soon.

The Marzetti Company based here in Columbus makes all their sauces for them. I'm not sure how many people have the Marzetti brand available to them, except here in the Midwest, but they make some good salad dressings and dips as well.

Uh Jay, you know that is the same as the "f" word here, right?

It actually wasn't too bad. That said, I went with low expectations.

I ordered mine "extra saucy" as usual (no extra cost). As Craiggger said, it doesn't taste like ghost peppers. In fact, I couldn't pick up any "chinense flavor" at all. It tastes like cayenne to me. The only thing similar to ghost peppers was a slow creeping heat. My mouth didn't start to get warm until the third wing. They're not crazy hot by any means, but they do have a decent heat.
The texture was a bit gritty. It reminded me of when I dump a heap of pepper powder into a boring commercial sauce to kick it up a notch. It's not terrible, but it's certainly not a velvety smooth sauce.
The best thing about it, to me, is the fact that it's not a total salt bomb like the Blazin sauce is.
I would probably order it again, but only on Tuesday. Any other day is a total rip off IMO.

Finally tried them tonight!! I really wish they'd replace blazin with this stuff. I really enjoyed them. The waitress freaked out when I got them, and she kept on checking on me during the meal, asking if I needed more tea or bleu cheese, even though I had plenty of both lol. I agree that the heat definitely creeps up. The friend I was with looked at me like I was a badass after I ate 3 wings with no visible signs of discomfort. I told her that it was going to start kicking my ass soon, and I was right.

We've been hacked! Someone stole Impy's ID and is posing as her!

Or could it be? Really? ImpyChick???

Welcome back.

And no, I have never had those wings, the closest one of those wing joints is probably 500 miles away. :mope:

Probably get myself in trouble for this, but yay for lack of better judgement!
Technically what JayT said isn't the same as the "f" word here as he left out one letter. Follows the f, comes before the e, and is a t.

I know, he even got the slur wrong by a letter. It was the intent. With the T.

Back on topic.
