Help me I.D. these 3 peppers

one of the guys I work with heard I like hot peppers so he brought me a couple from his garden, I'd like to try and grow each variety from the seeds in these.
 

 
I am told this one is Devils Tongue

 
This one is Scotch Bonnet

 
This one is Caribbean Habanero

 
 
I don't think these are ripe, will they ripen off the plant and can I harvest the seeds and start my own plans from these peppers?

darn it, I think he was wanting to help me out by getting these to me, but they are to young to harvest seeds from?

My guess is a few may sprout with weak germination rates, but most are to immature and if they sprouted would be runts. In general you want to save seeds from a pod that has reached its full color and maturation on the plant.

it looks like it has some Bhut in it maybe a Bhut cross
 
you can try harvesting the seeds and give them a try but the possabilty they may not sprout is there, however i have had green pods i tilled into my garden  where frozen over the winter and in spring sprouted so give it a try whatcha got to loss??

Viable seeds are about the pod growing to maturity and ripening is just the next step after that.  On the plus side they reached a decent size so they could be mature.
 
Getting an immature pod to ripen won't make the seeds any more viable than they already are (or aren't).  What I would do is leave the peppers sitting out in the open for two or three weeks to see if they start to ripen on their own.  If they do, that could be a sign they matured enough for viable seed before being picked, but if they don't start changing colors at all by then, the seed isn't likely to be good enough to bother with... you can still try using it but don't get your hopes up in that case.
