Stacked garden beds

Do any of you use stacked garden beds that are double or triple tiered for your peppers, tomatoes, herbs etc ?

And if so do you have any pics ?

Interesting concept. Could peppers or tomatoes really utilize the two foot deep section in one season outside? Definitely multi-year plants if they can live outside year round. I might use the back section like a potato barrel, or plant baby trees.

Do you have flat ground or a slope?

Terraced or "tiered" gardens don't save any space, they will have the same footprint as a square raised bed, but will require more dirt the higher you go.  Tiered beds just showcase your plants better and look pretty but that's about it.

I have always liked the idea of these. Not sure about being suitable for pepper plants tho.

I like that idea, is that your yard ?

No, they are just random internet pics. If one has a tiny back yard, this would be a great thing to do. And the design possibilities are plentiful.

We are on 45 acres so space is no issue. We just have a small but packed garden.
