Pepper Pickin' Porn 060808

Just a few peppers but I am so tickled about eating fresh peppers out of my garden I am beside myself ***shutup ronnie and keep typing***...can't keep him out of the conversation...

anyway...here is a photo of the peppers I picked this morning...not many but this is only the second time I have picked peppers....

Couldn't stand it...the Orange Hab Plant I cut back to a nub December 5th and grew through winter is going to be the best producing machine I have ever grown...This one plant will keep me in Orange Habs all summer and way into fall...(hopefully)...It has about 100 pods on it right now.....

Note: I am going to pick my ripe Naga Morich in the morning before I go to work and we are having a tasting at about 9am in one of the mangers office...wonder how hot it is going to be...

Thanks all...I have babied this hab plant like I have babied my nagas and red savinas...

how big was that plant before you cut it back and overwintered, that is a monster!

It grew to about 14 inches tall last year and not very bushy... produced about 30 pods all year...

Man, that Super Chili is small!

Yes sir, it is kinda small but it carries a pretty good heat....between a cayenne and tabasco in my thinking...I have three of these plants growing...

Man that looks sweet AJ. I hope some seeds from that Hab plant are in the parcel :P

I certainly will put some seeds in the parcel...but it is possible they will be crossed with either red savina or naga morich since all three varieties have been raised in close proximity and nothing hand polinated...

If overwintering makes a plant that much better in the second season, I am going to try to overwinter a bunch. I just never knew that it would have results that amazing. Well done!!

Sorry, don't know how to multiquote

All of those crosses would be cool by me!

I was totally blown away by the way this plant grew under fluoros but it was bustin with blooms even before I put it outside...I have already picked three ripe habs off the plant but have not eaten one yet...put one in some pico de gallo and it raised the bar pretty good...

I wouldn't mind having a orange hab crossed with a naga either...
