AJ posed question as to whether or not a bird would metabolize capsaicin. I would like to know the answer!

Let's assume we have a bird that is a non carnivore. If it eats hot peppers will it poop out hot poop or not hot poop? Discuss!

Someone with a parrot needs to taste it, and it isn't going to be me!! lol.

EDIT:  I think it'll come out hot!

I should mention that there is a poll. Please feel free to vote!

I voted yes. Not having receptors would mean birds also have no need to neutralize the capsaicin. But then, we have a "need" but it doesn't happen with us, either. Hmm...

Will the bird shit be be hot? Will the the bird eliminate capsaicin? Yes. I mean no. I mean what? If I answer yes does it mean it's hot, or it eliminated cap? F*CK THIS! Nova was drunk.
