chinense FtL scotch bonnets

Steve954 was kind enough to bring us the MOA scotch bonnet pepper.when he had sent me the seeds he had also sent me a bag of pepper seeds he labeled FTL Scotch bonnets according to him he had gone to a farmers market in Fort Lauderdale Florida and ran across woman that were selling these peppers ...according to the woman she had been going these peppers for years and the seeds originally came from Jamaica

I shared all those seeds... and I planted a few. The ones at my house are a little different. But these are ones from a garden bed at my college.

If I can get these to ripen up in abundance I will continue to share this stream of pepper

Grown in my yard

Those pods look amazing. I was blessed to get some original seeds from another member. Growing them next year and will pay it forward. Can't wait to see them mature.

It will be great to hear how they taste once they ripen, nice bonnet shape. Are they red or yellow bonnets? I'm doing a wild grow next year, but I always have a open door for a good bonnet, Hope there will be a few extra seeds.

Great topic Dennis.

I have a few FtL scotch bonnets growing right now. Your pods have interesting shape/texture. The original pods were yellow, four lobed, and had a beautiful cup-and-saucer shape to them. Excellent flavor.

I look forward to see how they grow out.

Steve.. unfortunately the ones I'm growing are diseased so it may not grow true to shape. . The other one I habe at my college campus. . Might be a yellow pixie pepper.. or just a really wicked FtL. .m regardless of shape. It should have the same excellent taste...not sure who I sent seeds to and who grew them out..

Glad to see you dripping by still.. not sure if you changed numbers...
