Wimpy guy

Ok so compared to a lot of you folks, I consider myself to be somewhat of a wimp when it comes to the hot stuff. I tend to try to eat at least one of my apache chilis a day to help build that up. They register around 80,000 SHU.
I tend to handle them decently well. No need for a drink. I don't get very watered eyes from them.

My buddy cory got me into hot peppers. He is in the process of growing Caribbean Red Habs. As nice of a guy as he is, he actually gave me his very first fully ripe one. I had debated on sticking pieces of it into a pocket cut out of some chicken breast and grilling it. I may still. I told him that I just had to at least eat a small chunk. Have to take chances once in a while. I cut it in half length wise. My girlfriend is looking at me like I'm nuts. Well I went for it. I tried a tiny piece first. Didn't completely dislike the flavor but it wasn't my top choice. No burn. so I added some placenta into the next larger chunk. Same flavor slight tingle but no burn. Ate the whole half and holy hell! Eyes watery, nose very sniffly, salivating like crazy. That endorphin rush was pretty spectacular but yeah wow.
Either Habs have a stalled burn and it just hits later or the first 2 pieces weren't enough. Either way, I'm thinking I won't cook with it because honestly, I want to eat it as it is. Thanks for reading. Can't wait to rip through the next half!

One thing about it after a few days your gonna miss that burn and have to take another hit.
Dam I'm like I hate that dam burn but the rush is so intence I'm back at it. People I work
With think I'm crazy.

I know exactly what you mean. I'm hurtin' myself trying out my harvest, but I keep going back for more. Damn, it hurts so good.

Oh I know precisely what you mean. My dinner shortly after was chicken stuffed with fresh jalapeños and apaches. Very tasty. Habanero BBQ sauce on it. Grilled to perfection. Loved it.
