All seriousness, it could be due to your crop's last watering. Was there a lot of rain recently? Or, did you add a profound amount of water? These are just my thoughts. It could be excess moisture that's seeped through the walls of the pepper. Be careful, because if this is the case, your other pods are at HIGH risk of molding and rotting quicker.
 
I don't think it's water it has not rained here for a few days, dare I say it's been quite sunny here (50 miles outside London)
 
I see you're fairly new, and might not quite be used to the joshing that goes on around here. What the others are trying to tell you is that it's likely capsaicin oil. You find that in superhots sometimes, depending upon ripeness and such.

And yeah, you got superhots for some reason (likely the same reasons as the rest of us), so go ahead and give it a try!

Seriously though, I have seen a similar but almost jelly like substance inside Apricots, Manderines and Nectarines.

If an Australian brings something down into one of their gutters, wouldn't that be (relatively) bringing it up out of a gutter for a North American?  Things to ponder.....
