A New Way To Blend Your Hot Sauce

So I was on a DIY site and stumbled across a way to make your blender blade and attachment work as a mason jar lid and therefor make it possible to blend the ingredients in the mason jar and avoid the possibility of the hot sauce leaking out the top of the blender top and minimize the dirty dishes, possibility of a spill, and makes it easier to replace parts... if you can.

I saw this as more of a good idea if someone wanted to do multiple varieties of sauces without the repeated cleaning of the whole blender. I do see your point though... and if I made a sauce that was good enough to drink out of the jar like that... I would have to assume that a very addictive substance would have to have been added. Or I am a true bada**.

So for multiple sauces you mean you have multiple blender bottoms? Or you use one jar for the mixing? So then... what is the difference?

No you could have 10 jars of sauce and use the blender blades/motor to mix them all without issue. This saves you from washing the blender glass/metal/plastic container

I am in your camp however. I don't mine the blender and putting 1/2 gallon jars on there would scare me :)

No I get that. But you still have to transfer the blade assembly jar to jar then wash then back to blender in the end. I'd just use the blender. I don't find that hard. I give it a whirl with water to rinse, then wash.

Me too, glass is glass. I'd rather wash the glass from a single blender than 10 different glass jars. :)

Hmm... you both seem to provide a legitimate point... too legitimate.   Now to find something more useful and informative...  :banghead: I will get back to you on that after I repeatedly connect and disconnect my head to the wall.  ;)
Go have a beer man. Make sure you pour it from the bottle into a Mason glass!

:D

I can see a use if your blender retains heat and you don't want to burn the next victim.

I think in this case I'd order a second blender carafe. Or make THEM use the Mason, lol.

If ball was smart they would make the redneck wine glass wide mouth and push it for frozen drinks with a "ball drink attachment"

Dude if your doing one sauce after another just rinse the blender with some hot water.
