Way overdue on this.  I picked up 5 x SFRB from Mike last week at a great price.  When my MFRB arrived it was jam packed with the boxes I picked along with a BUNCH of additional peppers, jam and taco sauce.  Sadly he kept me pulling seeds all week long and now going back through my list to see which other seeds have to be bumped from next years grow :)  Great transaction and he labeled every pepper which I know is a PITA to do.  Its nice to frequent a forum that has members who always seem to go out of their way to help.

Yes and I learned a valuable lesson, safety glasses should be worn at all times when seeding peppers.  I took a naga seed to the eye, direct shot and it wasn't fun.  What the heck do you do when one eye feels like its about to jump out of your head and the other wont open.  That and you have pepper coated nitrile gloves on and a knife in your hand :)

Well, after screaming like a prepubescent little girl (those screams can bend metal, I swear. I don't know how they can hit those notes.), you carefully put the knife down, skillfully remove the gloves without touching your skin (surely you've practiced this while blindfolded, right?), you then stick your head under body tempature running water, make sure the water is running over the eyes and then open your eyes, once the seed is out you finally get someone to run saline solution over your eyeball for the next 1/2 hour or so. Of course, you've already stock piled several hundred gallons of saline solution for just such an emergency, right?

He labeled each and every one of those peppers? Dayum....

Pepper people are the bomb diggity... :) and smileguy sounds like one of them.. ;)
Yep, the only ones that didn't get labeled were those that were obvious based on the type in the box, as in you have 5 types and 4 are labeled or the entire box was the same type.  Most of them went into this my first two ferments and still have a pound in the fridge that I need to smoke and dehydrate.

Lovely. Those ferments look great. How many boxes in each jar? And did you put in liquid in them? I'm getting ready to start some ferments, so lots of questions and rereading the fermenting thread.

Oh, I think I might have insulted Mike. I asked him if he could label the peppers in box. Hmm, well another mea culpa today. I should start a running count.

1lb of MOA in the yellow and 1lb of naga in the red.  No additional liquid other than what came from the peppers and fruit/veggies.  I'm probably going to get a good belly ache from this but it wont be the first or last time I've had food borne illness :P  You know I think he labeled them all because I have less than 100 posts and its sort of like he felt sorry for a FNG :P

I'm not sure it was because you are a new guy. I asked him to label mine too and he said no problem.

I bought a box of pods from Mike last year and was very impressed. He gave me a nice variety and made sure they were fresh! If you are looking for a box of pods I would definitely recommend Mike!

I got my box yesterday. Look at all the goodies! Just look. :drooling:

The top right one shouldn't have the Twister Sinister at the beginning of the cross named.

I couldn't quite read one label, so I'm not sure if the Red Loup is the right name. I just found out it is Red Love, the middle one in the 2nd column. A  Matthew Arthur creation.. That's the dude that created daisy cutter, 7 pot peanut, warped and a couple others.

I recently received a mixed box from Mike. The box was literally on the verge of spontaneous collapse! Well, maybe that's an exaggeration but it was packed to the brim!

Unpacking the pods alone left a burn on my hand. Never had that happen before!

I thought "Lava" was a type of 7 pot, and dosed a taco pretty heavily with this. Nope, apparently Mike found a way to can actual lava. Common mistake

Lots of oil....
