Scotch bonnets or not?

Have had two plants that were supposed to be scotch bonnets but not convinced! Look more like friars hats to me and tried one lastnight and hardly any heat whatsoever!!..Can any one confirm what they are please.cheers

Hey, all is not lost, add them (once they've ripened) into anything you're making. I add things to add different flavors to my salsa's.... Once they're ripe you can roast them and add to a salsa... last week I added two roasted Poblano's... hardly any heat there either to my salsa, was an awesome salsa!

Waste not - want not!

i'd agree on bishop's crown or ubatuba cambucci which could be the same pepper, some people think so. i don't know since i've only grown the latter
Thanks for the reply..bit gutted as both plants have huge crops but dont think i will use them as they really are very mild.As said above will let them ripen and see how they go but really disappointed.
