I was notified this morning that Lucky Dog Hot Sauce is now a Scovie Award winner! 

They say the 3rd time is the charm - I'm big enough to admit that I've been skunked in this competition twice before, so I entered with trepidation this time. It's pretty hard not to feel dejected when you don't even place two straight years of entering, but with just 9 hot sauce categories, and 150+ companies competing & most entering multiple sauces, it's very, very difficult to win a Scovie. 

Not only did Lucky Dog Hot Sauce finally win a Scovie Award, it won 2!

Lucky Dog Hot Sauce's Black Label won 3rd Place in Hot Sauce, Unique, and Lucky Dog Hot Sauce's Orange Label won 3rd Place in Hot Sauce, Medium 

My thanks to the judges for recognizing Lucky Dog Hot Sauces as some of the best in the business. Considering the extremely high level of competition in this award, it's truly an honor. 

And considering Orange & Black won, I'm really feeling the SF Giants / Halloween vibe.

Congrats man! I just tried the hot sauce I ordered the other day and it was soooo good! In fact, just had both the orange and black on my dinner tonight!

SPOILER ALERT! SPOILER ALERT! You were right, it was a sign that the giants had a win coming their way.
 
Congratulations on the well deserved win! Getting accolades and thumbs up from consumers I'm sure is awesome, but also now being recognized with a Scovie (2 that is!)- that's a full 'tip of the hat' to all your efforts. Well done.. :dance:
