My buddy's had a small stockpile of this for a while - every now and then he'll bust out a bar - I like it. The heat is barely perceptible but it's pretty tasty chocolate.

I'm a chocolate fiend!!! - have tried many chili infused chocolates (w/ powders, oils..commercial brands to high end gourmet/specialty brands). I really like(d) the Congo Pili Pili Chili Bar by Theo Chocolate! Good luck if you can find it though (locally/ US resident..don't know about Australia). I think they quit production on it however as I have not see it sold in a while..grrr! Their regular Chili bar contains Guajillo and Pasilla peppers- they also have an awesome Chipotle drinking mix with Chipotle (duh!) and Ancho peppers, alongside cinnamon/allspice/nutmeg/etc..spicy goodness! Just wish they would leave out the sugar so you could adjust to your liking..but hey, it's a 'mix'!   A few others that come quickly to mind...

Chuao Chocolate's has a great bar called 'Spicy Maya' ..it contains Pasilla chile, Cayenne, and cinnamon. Great bars!

Cocolove has a 'Chili's & Cherries' bar that's great..as every bar/style from them is great IMO! Big bars too. (the chili bar is only 55% though, I prefer darker choc.)

Also in 55% but more mild, still nice (and pricey!) is Vosge's 'Red Fire' bar (Ancho, Chipotle, cinnamon..)

Then there is Lindt and others that have chili spiced/infused bars. Have not opened a health/energy style bar I was given that's made by 'KIND Nuts & Spices' brand called simply 'Dark Chocolate Chili Almond'. It has Cascabel, Ancho and Habanero chilis. Lots of variety/selection out there. I'll have to look for the Tobasco- did not even know such a thing existed, thanks! :P

Imagine... Carolina Reaper Chocolate! xD

Thanks for the vids/product reviews you post! Haven't come across any chocolate infused with Reapers, but have seen some Reaper peanut brittle!! Sweet, salty & spicy! :fireball:

They have had those at the Circle-K's for sometime around here. Not bad tasting chocolate, but only a very slight tasting Tabasco taste. I found most non-chili heads will pick it up quicker. Like Alchymystic said there are a lot better ones out there. I love to go to World Market just to taste  different kinds of chili chocolates.

Great review, although you probably should've let the chocolate come to room temperature before eating it. I've never had the Tabasco Chocolate bar but I'll definitely keep an eye out for it when I'm out shopping.

Anyone finds a real deal chili chocolate PLMK,that Tabasco is pure junk(not worthy of price)
The Lindt taste like chocolate too  (also not worthy of price)
I like chocolate, but came for the chilli ........ wasted coin
I dont think either are infusing chili into the right hole or something ? maybe they are scared to add any real heat ?
