As most of you know by now I am a huge baseball geek, and I've been a life-long SF Giants fan. The bigtime players played bigtime, and little known nobodies became heroes. 6 home-grown players & It was torture yet again. Then MadBum came out with a performance for the ages.
In the end the Giants and Royals delivered a fall classic for the ages. It's a shame one of these great teams had to lose.
A Giant tip of the cap to the KC Royals and their fans - as intense as it was, your team and fans were pure class throughout. These Royals have a great nucleus of talent with tremendous pitching & a terrific manager - they'll be back in the playoffs in no time.
