Aji dulce cross

This pod was grown from Aji Dulce seeds and its obviously crossed. This is about as big as the pods get and they have a very strong chinense/perfume taste. They have a mild heat that aji dulces usually don't have. I do not enjoy eating these because the flavor stays with you all day. Aji dulce I'm familiar with have a hab taste and no heat. I have other plants from the same seeds that I believe are true aji dulce. Any ideas?

They almost look like the aji dulces I grew this year, but those don't really have any heat, just a slight bitter heat in the seeds and pith that you can barely notice.  They do kind of look like that but they're more of a deep red-orange rather than orange with red streaks on it.

Can you describe the flavor of yours?

Look very similar to the aji dulces I got this year too, though mine were a bit darker red and slightly bigger pods.  I loved mine - habanero taste with almost zero heat - and nothing unpleasant stays with me.  Saved several for planting next year.  Really great in mild dishes to bring 'pepper' flavor without heat.

I'm just wondering what it could be crossed with that would make it taste like strong potpourri, as I heard one member explain chinese flavors. My co-worker who is big into peppers described them as tasting like perfume, my wife says they taste like soap, and I thought they tasted like some kind of chemical cleaner. But we all agreed they taste awful and not meant to eat by themselves. Is there any other peppers that have an overwhelming flavor like I'm describing. I have added a pic of an unripe pod off one of my other plants I believe is uncrossed aji dulce and these don't have that unpleasant taste. The pods are bigger and take some what of a different shape.

The Aji Perfume has a very strong hab like flavor without any heat except maybe around the seeds it does over power some dishes, and I have had people describe the flavor as some what grassy with a chemical soapiness to it, to me its some what fruity like a apricot with some earthy notes to it, but my taste buds are pretty much shot. I haven't tried Aji Dulce yet so I can't really compare it to the Aji perfume.
