Tower Garden

I drank the Kool-aid and shelled out mega dollars for one of these big PVC contraptions. I'm trying my first winter grow in my basement, but I've never grown in hydroponics or aeroponics before, and wonder how long from germination you should wait before plugging a seedling into the full-strength nutrient solution in the aeroponic tower. I had some plants that I brought in from the greenhouse that seem to be doing fine, but the seedlings I plugged in all seem to be burning up. I'm starting the seedlings in rock wool, and am guessing a more gradual introduction to the nutrient solution is necessary. So how long should I wait before introducing the nutes?

I've been looking at doing pretty much the same as this..

When introducing new plants to an established system, try this: substitute 1/5 of the new plants' former nutrient solution with 1/5 of the new nutrient solution... every day, for 5 days. If the new plants had previously only received water, then each day is a stronger dilution of the nutrient solution -- dilute with 4 parts water, discard drained liquid on 1st day; dilute 3 parts...etc.
