I have two of these going they are about a 10" high and are flowering with two small peppers starting. My question is when should I pick, what color should they be? Also my google searching hasn't given me a good picture, if anybody can provide a pic of a ripe pepper please do.

i picked a green one last night and cut some small pieces off, wow what a good pepper, it had an initial burst of heat then rolled down the throat and lasted about 15 minutes.. mmmm good stuff
