Welcome back to Slosh's Bar & Grill and welcome to our 2014 Hot Sauce Advent Calendar ... 25 sauces in 25 days!
 
On the seventeenth day of Christmas Slosh tries Purple Ghost - Blackberry Chilli sauce from Fire Dragon Chillies - http://firedragonchillies.com/
 
First things first ... yes we got to get out of the house and on location today ... and show you around a bit of Fremantle ... Cicerellos has been the place we take our kids for a relaxing day out for years ... they absolutely love the Crab Sticks ... I hope you enjoy this video because it is a bit different!
 
But enough of that ... this sauce was awesome ... sweet, tart and with a little bit of warmth ... I would probably have liked it to be a bit hotter but I wouldn't want the flavour to be compromised ... the flavour of the blackberries really stands out ... and in the background you can taste all the different chillies in there ... its bloody good ... I tried it on ice-cream when I got home and it was perfect ... a great dessert sauce ... that went pretty well with squid rings too!

I like sweet sauces, and the taste of bhut jolokias. According to my tastes, I think this sauce is the one I'll love the most in all of Fire Dragon Chillies sauces. Great review!

Great to see some outdoor scenery. Wish it was summer here. I've got the damn itch to grow. Thanks for sharing the review

It's pretty damn good ... I just had some with Greek Vanilla Yoghurt ... awesome
 
I was thinking of trying to do some sight'seeing video intros if people dug them 8-) ... hopefully I will be able to do some at the beach and stuff like that over the summer 8-)

I was hoping to do more of these intros from around Perth and on location reviews if people liked them 8-) ... It was really fun to do ... and a reason to go outside and enjoy the day!

I'd love to see more sightseeing. Australia has always been in my top 3 places I'd love to visit someday. Even if you all have the deadliest snakes, spiders, jellyfish, octopus, bull ant and you have a ton of great whites and salt water crocs, why did I want to visit again? lol j/k  I've always enjoyed watching all the nat geo shows about Australia, such a beautiful place.

I assure you just because I took this photo just outside my front door there really aren't that many giant lizard eating spiders here ;-)
