"Did somebody say cigars?!!"

When I was a fishing guide in Alaska, many of our guests also ventured to Cuba and brought back loads of cigars.

Many gave them away like candy.

I thought they burned quite a bit hot.

I liked Monte Cristo's better and even the Dominican Dunhill's smoother.

And yeah, end the cold war BS.

I want to go bonefishing in Cuba!

I caught one of those here, a while back, in the bay no less ...

I wish I could get Danielle into fishing, but that's not happening ... I'm better off grabbing my spear and heading over to the pier ...

I'm a point-and-click kind of guy, all day long ...

I could throw bait in the water, where I can't see, and hope the right fucker comes along, eventually ... or I can just hop in and pick my meal ...

I mean ...

A nice cigar hand rolled on the thighs of native women in Ybor City are pretty darn fine. I like them better than Cuban cigars. A nice CT wrapper and Dominican seed Madura for me. Although Skoal Classic has been my go to lately

Too bad Cuban cigars declined in quality and consistency many years ago. There are also tons of convincing fakes. At the same time, other countries increased their quality and consistency. Maybe Cuba can get its mojo back if they re-capitalize the industry. I used to be a cigar aficionado until it got crazy expensive. I don't think any cigar is worth more than $5/stick, but am probably showing my age. In the late 80s, early 90s I purchased many high-end Cubans at a Canadian Dunhill for no more than that.
