Wawa

We have em everywhere around here. Just another convenience store/gas station that you can also order "fresh" food at. A lot of folks around here like their coffee, they have a bunch of different types. To me it's meh but I think Starbucks is overrated, overpriced and meh as well. Strange that folks are so excited about one opening.

Yeah, Orlando is getting a bunch of them in. I stopped at one a week or more ago and really it's like a Glorified Race Trac on the inside and it charged me for the wrong type of gas at the pump. Manager was really nice and fixed it pretty quickly for me.

OMG, we have like 47 that opened up recently here in like a 5 mile radius... Its nuts.

Never stepped  into a Wawa in my life.

I'm not opposed to it. Just hasn't happened yet.

Interesting name for a store chain. So tell me, when you walk in the door, instead of a chime do you hear a trumpet going "WAAA Waaaaa"?

People freak out over weird shit.

DQ opened on 14th in Manhattan and there were record lines around the block, 2 hours to get a Blizzard. With all that NY has to offer, this?

mrs. blues finally made it there this year and thought it was a super meh lowlier version of INO.

I was going to check out the Austin location on my next trip there but I trust her judgement.

The woman cant cook for shit but she knows what awesome food is.

We've got Fast Eddy's for gas, fresh food and growler fills. Home of the $3 banana.

We want what we don't have. I remember when Krispy Kreme opened out here (8 plus?) years ago. There were lines around the block. Now, they're virtual ghost towns.

Yeah, nothing special. People will go crazy over whats popular, and want to be a part of it. Its emotionalism, and wanting to be a part of whats new. Reminds me of a fad here that is just annoying. There is a barbecue restaurant called 4 Rivers that everyone and their mother have their bumper sticker on their cars, and line up like school children to get. Its really crap imo, but to those who have never had nice barbecue, they would not know any better. Its just barbecue loaded with sugar and chemicals, so it feeds their sugar addictions. Its so annoying to see so many people giving this place free publicity, and of course because everyone else likes it, it becomes even more popular. I think now people just put the bumper sticker on their cars because everyone else is doing it, like its the "cool" thing, puke. WAY over rated, like Wawa. In fairness, what I do like about Wawa is their setup. Most of the ones here have a front and back entrance with parking in both places. Its a little easier to getting in and out of. Plus some of them now carry non ethanol gas, so that is a big plus. Its essentially a Race Trac, and 7 Eleven and a sub shop combined with a superior layout.
