vendor Where do you guys recommend buying pepper seeds from?

I know not to buy from ebay or Amazon. I bought seeds from Bhut-pepper.com before joining this site. They seem to be a legit source,

but now i know better to ask people on here first before buying. What do you guys think about pepper joe? I am looking for different

varieties of BJs and i want some chocolate habeneros. Any other peppers you recommend?

THP popular opinion suggests that Joe is one the less reliable sources. I suspect his actual defect rate is probably fairly low (or he'd be out of business).

Pepperlover is well loved, and is the only vendor I've purchased from.  (Judy gets an A+ in my book.)
Buckeye seem a stand-up bunch, I don't think I've heard a single complaint.
Midwestchileheads looks plenty solid.
Semillas has an awesome selection, but is overseas and reports occasional customs issues (confiscation!)

I don't mean to be uppity, but please spend 30 minutes browsing the other threads in this section.  Then visit the site and browse for a while.  You'll develop your own opinions soon enough!  ;)

I had only good deals with:

www.pepperlover.com  Judy is outstanding, great choice of seeds, a ton of them in every package

www.buckeyepepper.com  Mike and Jen are truly awesome people!

www.junglerain.com.au  Grant is one of the most reliable pepper growers on planet earth!

I didn't try http://puckerbuttpeppercompany.com/ cause shipping costs were too high for me (i live in Italy) but i have heard only good things about Ed!

I'd have to say Pepperlover(Judy),fordsfieryfoods(JOHN),Semillas((peter),buckeye pepper co.,refiningfirechiles(Jim),rainbowchilliseeds(vladen) and you can also checkout www.htpepper.com(Todd) these are in no particular order just sound reliable honest vendors.

Cross Country Nurseries has a solid rep here, too: http://www.chileplants.com

They only started selling seeds last year, so that fact is not well-known yet. They have always sold live plants and also fresh pods. You can start ordering live plants from their site on January 1, if that interests you. If you order live plants you pick the week of delivery in the Spring. If you order fresh pods, they will arrive in early Fall. I have not ordered seeds from them yet, so don't know the delivery on those.
