Need Info & help Please

Hello All,


I've got some peppers in 5 gallon pots.....(scorpion, 7pot, doughlah etc...) on inspection of the pot i noticed roots growing out the bottom hole of the pot....is this gonna be a problem....do i need to repot ( i hope not)...the plants have flower pods forming but no peppers yet. Please advise ??????
 
I just did this last night. I had to wait for the soil to dry out a bit, then the root ball came out with just some gentle shaking. I filled the bottom 1/3rd of the bucket with new soil and popped the plant back in. Now it's back up to the rim of the bucket.

It amazed me how much the soil settled!
