Alright Paul! Looking righteous already! Man them babies looking nice. Cheers

Thanks, Aaron.  The plant on the left in the top picture
is the same age as the others.  It is so much bigger,
I had to name it 'Goliath'   :D

Nice to see you back in the game . Happy New Year brother man .

If our season goes was well a the Ducks played
yesterday, it will be a great one.  Sorry Jamie   ;)
Happy New Year to you and your family, my friend.

What lights are you running?  Did you cut back the number of plants for 2015?

Hey, Jim, Happy New Year, bud!  The lights are 2 x 4' T5HO.

I am scaling back a bit this year.  I have 30 drip stations and will
hand water a handful.  If I had more space and irrigation, I'd have
more plants.  Fifty or more is a bit much for my yard and energy!

Not a fan of the ducks, but they are looking good. Kesler has a potential to be a real game changer. That is if and when he wants to be.

I have never rooted for the Ducks until last night Paul . That was the best day ever !!!!

Go Gators !!!!!
I thought maybe your loyalty would transfer to the remaining Florida team

Great start Paul!

Plants are looking stellar!

Thanks, Scott, here's hoping they stay that way!

Alright, seeds are go!

Are you planning on transplanting the Aerogarden plants into the ground/pot?

Yes, the aerogarden starts will go into 2liter pots, then outside into containers.
The tricky part is getting the starts out of the aerogarden while the roots are
still small enough to get out of the basket easily.  Last year I waited too long
on a few; they develop fast in the hydro unit.

Nice list there Paul. I'm wondering whichnines are new to you and which are favorite from years past. Hopefully we'll all have a more normal winter this year and not that fiasco we had last year. Looking forward to seeing the years all colorful again. Happy New Grow Year!

Hey, Paul.  Very interesting list.  Did you do anything special to get the manzanos to germinate?  I have some rocoto seeds from Peru that I thought would have been up already...Not!  Looking forward to all the outdoor photos!!

The varieties with generations listed are the ones I like from prior seasons.
Any with no generational designation are new for me this year.

I'm with you, my friend.  Normal is good!  Hope you have a great grow in
your second year in the new space!

Well that was quick!
Some nice varieties, I'm looking forward to following along.
Good luck :)  Thanks, Paul!  Same to you
Ya just gotta pull the trigger, ready or not, sometimes   ;)

A bit better than half my grow is c. chinense this season.
I'll be adding more annuums this time around.  We'll see
what has survived from the Round One seeding when
March gets here.

Can't think of anything special, JIm  I've had decent luck germinating them
the past few seasons, even if getting them to be great pod producers has
been more of a challenge!  I do notice my general germination speed and
rate has increased with the use of a heat mat.  They just are such slow
growers.

Would you like some fresh Orange Manzano seed?
Just say the word, my friend!

Thanks for the offer, but I think I would be late getting them in the dirt.

You can cut one back and let to OW inside.
I have had decent luck with them wintering over.
They don't seem to mind the cooler weather so much.

I'll save some of this year's seed for ya for next season!

Paul,

I have one Manzano still up and running, what's the lowest temp they can handle?

This ones in a 20 gallon bag, and no fun to move about
