I am Teresa

I am not too new to spicy food however the last 2 weeks I have been in some pepper groups I realize I truly had not known anything about Super Hots. I had grown habeneros a few times just in a small garden for personal use I grew to share with neighbors and gave to a local food pantry that also serves lunch daily. I made a hab mango hot sauce that was really sweet and I had tried to grow a ghost plant last year however it wasn't really spicy. I order some ghost powder and dried pods from the web that was what I believed the hottest in the world. I now have experienced I believed wrong and there is several peppers hotter.

This year I cant have a garden persay but im going to grow what I can in some pots on my patio here in central Virginia. Im originally from Massachusetts and moved to Virginia back in late 2005. Quite often my depression gets me down but I find peace in helping who I can with whatever they need if I can. Yes of course sometimes it leads me to be used or go without for someone else but if someone takes advantage of my care its on them not me. If I have to give someone something they need and go without I am happy I could help. It gives me a sense of accomplishment!

Im not young but im not old either. I just feel old sometimes. Im not rich but im not homeless or starved. I dont get joy out of possesions but get joy out of seeing I could make someones day.

Currently im trying to sprout some bhut, naga, and 7pot for the upcoming season. I plan on trying to do some moruga and reaoers too in I can get ahold of some plants or seeds. Im sure the established plants would be better so im on the lookout to purchase one of each. I have a few aerogardens to use there lights until warm here but I also want those 2 plants to be able to grow indoors through the winter and hopefully produce all year. Not sure if this is possible but going to find out hopefully. I also plan on planting a garden peach tomato, yellow tomato or cherry size yellow, and an orange tomato. I may possibly do for my friend some red cherry like the tiny tom tomato which is smallest tomato plant in world. She has what she says a black thumb when it comes to veggies but grows a beautiful flower garden but prefers red tomatoes and likes cherry too. I dont have a big patio to do this on but know there will be plenty to give to my new neighbors and my family and friends. I also want to figure out how to use thepeppers for pain such as in some of the creams sold at the pharmacy for back relief or arthritis.

I have learned alot in past 2 weeks in the pepper groups I have oined and I am glad Wicked Mike invited me here. I have never been to a chili fest or pepper fest but hopefully can experience one this year sometime. Im sure theres not one near me so I will look around and take a bus to one that seems interesting. I am very glad to have met online a few kind people and speak with them in messenger. Seems there are many peopke kind like myself in the chilihead community and I feel at home. I have had some truly good conversations and am getting quite an education. Thank you all for making me apart of your community and I am looking forward to some great new experiences as well as hoping I gain some real friendships.

Welcome from Romania, Teresa!

About using hot peppers for pain, I am sure there was a topic about this. I am using too an alcoholic extract of hot peppers, they sell here. Well, I am thinking to make my own, too. But here must be careful, because hot pepper can cause skin problems or pains, and I think alcohol is also irritating for sensitive skin.

I would reccomend you to read the Bible, you will find the real peace.

Welcome. If you are looking for some established seedlings check out juanitos website. He will be selling established seedlings in a couple months.
