Bad memory- name of pepper

Looking for the name of a pepper that prodigal son grew. It was an ornamental I believe really really purple plant, absolutely gorgeous plant from the pics he posted here. Small pods. Tried search function with no luck, can't send a pm to pson so I come here for help.
 
That is one stunningly beautiful variety! Is there a way I could obtain seeds from it?
