Serious problems with bell peppers , pics inside

Every year I plant some various seeds that I take from fruits I buy, and every year when I plant bell peppers (what we call paprika here) they get some kind of disease, the leaves turn white, crumble up and the plant goes tits up, this usually happens within 6 weeks or so. This year I made sure it wasnt going to happen, I thought..

I use mostly soil and this year I bought Coconut fibers for a special (25 litre) big pot. The nutrients I use is urine below EC 1, and granulated nutrients (small blue balls) I dont use much of the granulates, I use them mostly in the bottom of the pots. I also use a dash of PK 13-14 but thats mostly used for fruiting, when N is no longer needed. The granulates contain N12, P5, K(sulphate)14, Mg 1.2, S8, and trace amounts of B, Zn, Mo. I also use dolomite lime but not very much. As soon as I saw this problem again I gave the plant some Mg-sulphate.

Can anyone tell what the problem is? Last year I planted several hundreds of these bell peppers in the soil out in nature and they also died from this so I have a feeling its not because of my soil/coco or my choice of nutrients.

Possible causes for this problem might be lack of Mg, no chlorophyll.

Too much N.

Too much sun.

Some fungal, bacterial or viral disease that I am not aware of.

What is it? Now even the more exotic varieties start getting this, and I have never had problems with them before

Those look absolutely nothing like any type of pepper I have ever seen. I really really do not think those are peppers.

Well what can I say, The variety going white is bell peppers, then there is 2 other varieties, one is some asian variety grown in holland (said on the package) it was long thin and red, semi strong, and the last variety is jalapeƱo, I know this since I bought and ate them! All Capsicum annuum. All seeds are taken from store bought fresh peppers!

btw Yes I know why you dont think they look like peppers, I have also grown varieties that are much darker, smaller leaves and has a much waxier look to them, but trust me those are peppers also, or chilis, whatever you like to call them. I'm in northern europe and the peppers I can get from the store here is probably not the same varieties that you guys have.

What is the thing with the little yellow flowers? Are you planting more than one thing in the same container?

Yes its either jalapeno or that asian variety. I plant them in the same pots to get hybrids, might be fun (they will cross pollinate anyway if within a few meters so I just didnt care this time).

I'm fairly confident that what I have planted is bell peppers, and 2 other varieties of chilis. The coco fiber medium is sterile so nothing except what you put in there will grow from that pot. I dont know what to say, I guess I'll see in a few weeks what turns out of the big bucket/pot. Soon there will be fruits, probably in less than a month. I just feel bad because the plants are turning white and crumbles up, maybe they are overexposed to the sun, quite possible, they get direct sunlight all day. It feels very strange that nobody believes they are peppers, I feel like an idiot, But I know what I bought and planted, and the possibility that all the seeds I planted did not spout and some weed not even found in this country have taken over all of the pots its well fairly slim imo.

Those look like weeds I was pulling out of my friends garden in Eppelheim (near heidelburg) germany... not peppers.

The medium might be sterile, but the seeds from weeds can travel on the wind for many km's.

I'm starting to doubt it myself that these are peppers, the thing is I planted several hundereds of these last year from paprikas I ate (bell peppers), and only one kind of plant grew there, THAT same variety (the one with the crumbling leaves in the pics).

But after looking at all the pics of lovely peppers here in the forums I cant say any of the plants in my pots look similar, however I still know what seeds went in there. I guess time will tell, I'm not saying youre wrong but I would be very very surpised if anything except peppers would come out of the coco fiber pot.

there are so many plants in the pictures and the pictures are pretty big I can't tell what is what...might help if you isolate one of the plants and show photos of it that way....JMO

NONE of those plants shown are chile/pepper plants!
you have to pull the weeds out of the containers (or garden) right away or they will overtake the chile plants & kill'em, & by the looks of it you best just replant if you have enough time in the season to do so.
& resize your pictures!

well you have like 3-4 different types of plants growing (if not more) so yes something else is growing other than bell pepper plants (IF theres even a small bell pepper plant somewhere in those containers?)
