Beer with pepper jelly

ok call me crazy but my daughter in Indiana asked me to make her some mountain dew jelly which I did and sent it to her..
 
so I like beer and hot peppers would love to learn how to brew beer and make a pepper beer.
 
The today I thought ok if you can make jelly with soda why not use beer to make jelly.
 
think about it a double bock ale with a hint of say a 7 Pod Brain Strain Yellow Pepper Jelly
My son says I was thinking way out of the box LOL
 
I like pepper beer! The sugar from the jelly will add to gravity, but the hot pepper can easily overpower everything. The peppers can also taint your lines and other equipment. That is why that is one beer I don't brew.
 
Hmmmmm ok what if when you bottle the beer you took the hot pepper put it in boiling water for 30 seconds then put it in the bottle of beer and then cap it .
