Website for Logging Plant Growth + Database

Hello guys. I made a website app that allows you to track & log the performance of your pepper plants. I expanded this idea to all plants after I realized I could use this for tomatoes as well. We currently have 250 vegetable plants in the database.

You can post pictures, comments, and send messages to other users on the platform. When you create a post, you start a grow page (like Youtube) and specify the genus and species. This allows you to quickly search the website by plant species for other user's plants.

The website logs the views on your grow pages and summarizes the stats with our analytic engine. You can see the top 10 countries viewing your posts along with the view counts.

You can also track plant height, watering schedules, leaf & flower counts, pot size, leaf color etc. with our data tracker. Viewers of your grow page can see when you watered your plants and when you transplanted them to bigger pots. I find this is nice because you can see correlations between over watering and plant leaf color.

If you are interested, check out http://leafvault.comand let me know if you have any feedback on how to make it a better platform. It is all free to use and I am not trying to sell you anything!

Have fun!

That's actually really cool, will definitely join up and will track my plants. Awesome job on the site mate. As a business analyst this type of stuff always interested me, I've always thought of graph out growth of my plants, etc.

i think this is good for small growers, but its lots of work to keep up when you have 20+ plants. (let alone 200+ like some of us crazies)
I was thinking about this.  I am thinking of making an application to upload multiple plants at one time.

Yeah I was only going to keep track of a couple of plants, I'll be here all day if I was tracking all of them. It would be interesting when you're growing a few as an experiment like I'm growing two identical peppers one in soil and one in hydro, same conditions, same feed, etc. So tracking those two overtime wouldve been cool.

I keep getting an error when I try to make an account:

Maximum account limit reached. You are only allowed to register 3 accounts per IP address.

But I know for sure no one else in my house would have made an account for this site.

It should work now. I had to check the spam filter and I realized I was blocking all incoming traffic :P
