My New Fly Traps

Hi there.  I just received these two plants yesterday.  I have one other plant that is not doing well in my opinion.  So, I do not want these to die on me.  I am not sure on what to do to the ones with 'black' heads and or stems of these plants.  As well, it may show on the pictures, but one is also a pinkish type color.  They are on my TV stand in the living room.  They are not in direct sun, and may get a little bit of direct light daily.  Average temperature is 75 degrees.  I have a couple of questions as well.  I will look online but also like to hear from other experienced growers as well.

Is it ok to keep them in the tubes they came in?
Can I use water from our water dispenser to water them, and how much and how often?
Do I have to re-plant these into a new container.  They are presently in 3" pots.
Do they need fertilizer?

Anyways, thank you in advance for any help you may be able to provide.

Ok, thank you.  I did read Maidens post, but did not want to take away from his post.  I'm sure he will see me here.  Also, thank you for the link, as I think my other trap will pull through, possibly.

The lower left is a fly trap with blackened head that I will remove and the other two green things are pitcher plants.  They recently started to turn brown, one only on the tip.

Ok.  Better pictures as I had to remove them to water.  I am going to get distilled water later today, just that I needed to give them something to drink as the growing medium was getting dry.  I used from our 5 gallon water dispenser.  The medium used appears to be peat.  Is it a good idea to wash out the water given to them earlier with distilled?

Well, the one that is purple in the pictures is now black too.  They are in the greenhouse now, in a south facing window.  I will be monitoring them closely now.
