Newril's swedish indoor grow (update: The world outside)

I've been thinking about starting a glog for sometime, but for some reason I haven't started yet.. Atleast until now:)

This is my second season, but i'm going to start with a recap of my first season. It started in late march 2014 in a little 24slot grow box and 4 months later I had built a 185cm wide, 185cm high, 79cm depth grow box and 450w och MH and 300w of T8s.

Season 2014 (my first)

bhut jolokia
carolina reaper
Thai sun chili

After i bought my first lights 150w mh 150 w t8. Didn't have any spare space in my little apartment so they got the dining area (since we have another table)

I didn't even get one single bhut jolokia or reaper :( But i did get plenty of thai chili. Anyways that the short version of 2014

I've started some seeds in early january (the ones on the square pots at the upperfloor) I started the ones in the bottom in the middle of february

I'm also struggling with a aphid infestation, but won't bother you guys with that (atleast not in this thread). You guys can check it out at http://thehotpepper.com/topic/53887-aphids/if you like.

Good to hear that you prune like that as well, since your plants look great :) I've used cheap http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Space_blanketas reflectors. I were going to try foil but I got the tip to use  emergency blanket from dave2000 (another user at thp)

Was thinking of using normal kitchen tinfoil as thats what i have on hand but will look into the emergancy blankets if they are easy to get hold of, thanks for the tip!

A formidable jungle of healthy plants .... love the emergency blanket tip ... what variety are you most looking forward too
Thanks, hard to choose.. guess all of them

Another great looking northern grow!  Your grow
box set-up is awesome; some intense lighting there!

I don't think you can hurt the plants too much by
trimming; they seem to take most things (except
aphids!) in stride.  Hope you got a handle on
those suckers.

How long are your summer days there?  I'll bet
plants grow like crazy in the long days.

So, I guess a greenhouse or poly tunnel would be in order,
or do you grow indoors all season?  Maybe your apartment
has a balcony?

Yep, would get a greenhouse if I lived in a house, but I got a apartment. I do have a little balcony where i'm going to place some plants.

Most of the plants will be grown indoor all the time though.

Still no signs of new aphids in the grow box. My ow bhuts and reapers still had lots of aphids (i didn't release any lacewings since those plants don't fit in the grow box).
I decided to move them outside and let them die.

The pruning seems to work aswell, can see some new growth.

I also harvested my purple jalapenos ( some are over ripe others not ripe, but i wanted to harvest all of them so that the plant can start flowering again)

Sucks you had to kill all those plants :(
Looks like you have lots of nice ones in your grow area though.
I hope you've got rid of the bugs for good

My grow box is full, but I couldn't resist buying 5 35liter pots.

2 tomato plants
1 big jim
1 jalapeno mucho nacho
1 unknown (messed up the labeling)

sowed some marigolds as well, so that I can feed my adult lacewings :)

coriander
vinegar

Our cat had cought a little mouse (he didn't kill the mouse). We saw it behind one of the big pots. Then it ran away and we couldn't find him/her again.

Saturday morning I heard something in the growbox. We removed everything from the bottom floor.

After sometime we managed to catch the little mouse.

We released it in the woods near our house.
