Sweetgrass

 I understand sweetgrass is very hard to germinate but once it is established it expands by about 2 feet a year and takes over an area.  Have also read that it loves growing besides water.  Have steep grades near ponds that just grow weeds.  I could get there to hand cut n pull the weeds, but too steep to plant year after year.  Figuring the stuff will maintain itself and provide a bit more income for the farm.

So ordered in the seed and wondering if anyone has any experience with it. 
 
Serrano, no clue.  I just know I like a challenge and have a wholesale / distributor who sells the braids.  Same with white sage for smudge sticks.  Trying to expand niche and grow more product.
