Alrighty folks! It's almost plant out time and that means that my basement and lights are going to be freed up for some crossing projects through the summer.

I have 4 DWC buckets available for growing peppers indoors all summer. (not to mention racks for seedling growout)
2 spots are already taken by White Fatalii and CGN-21500.

These Plants will be the Base for all my other crosses. Meaning that I will use pollen from plants that are outdoors in the rest of my collection crossed with these. These will be tagged and harvested and grown out in the basement to choose phenos. I'm planning on going for taste more than heat.

Plants to choose from

My biggest focus will be crossing the White Fatalii with CGN-21500 but will do plenty of other crosses with them as well.

Y'all are more than welcome to offer suggestions as to what you would like to see crossed with what as well. I'm sure I will be sharing seeds with most of you at some point (prolly F2? maybe some F1's)

Ok, D3. I went for it.
Well, 1/4 of it anyway ;)

Oily as hell, and the placenta was thick as fuck. Really dense, but spongy. Smelled slightly fruity, but mean too, haha. Popped 1/4 of the pod down the hatch.....

Initial taste was a combo of fruity and a little floral
0:30- sides of tongue throbbing
1:15- tip of tongue and back of throat
1:45- could already feel it churning in my guts
2:30- tongue burn ramping up even more (stinging)
3:00- peaked- all over tongue burn, and back of throat (not nearly as bad as tongue)
7:00- back of throat burn almost gone, tongue burn starts fading slowly
10:30- gut pain starts building up a little. Not too bad though. It felt more like "shit, I'm gonna have cramps later" but I don't think I will. Just enough to make your guts 'uncomfortable'

Been like 25 minutes, and it's all good. What's weird about this pod (to me) is that there was no lip burn at all. Like, zero. None, haha. Nothing down the throat or in my chest either

Thanks again, D3! I'm looking forward to growing these out next year

(Sorry for the lame review. Peter's are much better ;) )

Better than I can do, lol. Damn peno last light got me so good it gave me the hiccups.

2.5 pheno had barely any heat. Like less than a habanero. Was fruity and sort of refreshing. I need to man up and try each pheno.

Here's a pod test I did on El Scorponero pheno 6. This one wasn't very hot, but had a great flavor.

Great vid, glad you enjoyed that one. I got high hopes for this cross, overall it's one of my favorite peppers.

Thanks again for trying these peter. Write ups aside, in your opinion of the crosses I sent you which ones you think are worth pursuing into next generation? I wrote a long response on YouTube and video ended right as I was about to press send. Went to next vid and lost my whole write up. Lol

Sorry for the extreme late in the season post.  My F2 Painapple seeds produced the following pods:

I am thinking they must have crossed with another "red" pod plant that I grew nearby.  I grew Aji Rosita Reds next to this plant last season so I am thinking that is what happened.  I say that because I tasted the pepper and although there was some heat, it was mild.  The flavor was sweet and then came the small amount of heat.  I would say slightly hotter than a jalapeno.

I still have more F2 seeds so there is hope that some of them did not cross with the Rositas.

I did save these F3 seeds if you are interested in any.

Nope Not phoobucket embed fix. Not sure why my first post attempts on my laptop show up blank. I just copied, then edited and pasted this back.

bear with me while I disable addons to see if any are causing it.
