Alrighty folks! It's almost plant out time and that means that my basement and lights are going to be freed up for some crossing projects through the summer.

I have 4 DWC buckets available for growing peppers indoors all summer. (not to mention racks for seedling growout)
2 spots are already taken by White Fatalii and CGN-21500.

These Plants will be the Base for all my other crosses. Meaning that I will use pollen from plants that are outdoors in the rest of my collection crossed with these. These will be tagged and harvested and grown out in the basement to choose phenos. I'm planning on going for taste more than heat.

Plants to choose from

My biggest focus will be crossing the White Fatalii with CGN-21500 but will do plenty of other crosses with them as well.

Y'all are more than welcome to offer suggestions as to what you would like to see crossed with what as well. I'm sure I will be sharing seeds with most of you at some point (prolly F2? maybe some F1's)

Have to say D3 your seed was certainly fresh ... both Omni-Bonnet and El Scorponero Orange were sown 3rd February and looped in just over a week. Pale Yellow Goat will show in time I am sure

Luke warm tea soak for 12hrs .... root sponges soaked in tap water which stood 24hrs ... then I added a few drops of "Nitrozyme" an organic growth enhancer

Another set of leaves then I will plant on

I got pretty poor germ rates from the D3 Goats. Some took over 20 days to germ.

So I'm not the only one with mutant d3 giant cotys. Interesting how true leaves grow completely in the other direction. I'm curious to see how they progress, I know you said you've seen siamese cotys, first time here tho

I have a triamese(?) coty (4 tips, 2 actual leaves) plant this season. Three tips on one coty and one normal coty. Also had a Siamese tri-coty last year, thought it was a quad coty at first.

What exactly are the mutant cotys you mentioned? Does every seedling of the D3 Giant get them?

Just the siamese thing. I have it on 2 of my 4 giants, never saw that before

All those look great with exception of devils Prick. Looks too smooth and jalapeño shaped. #1 is huge I love it. #17 is pretty close to the shape I saved seeds from. Cant wait to see what colors they turn.
I have a couple more devils prick plants that have pods on them. Will post them once they get a bit bigger, probably next weekend man. Hopefully those will be a bit better.

I shouldn't spam with this, but man this monster is ripening up. It's been 3 days since when the top started changing colour and this is how far it's gone. I don't usually check on individual pods for ripeness but it's taking ages. Is it because it's so massive? Cant wait to see what it comes out like.

Spam away, can never post too much.

The Devils prick #3 ripened for a really long time as well. Took several weeks and ripened in stripes, very rastafarian. Partly why I saved that pheno even though it didn't have the phallic shape.
