Alrighty folks! It's almost plant out time and that means that my basement and lights are going to be freed up for some crossing projects through the summer.

I have 4 DWC buckets available for growing peppers indoors all summer. (not to mention racks for seedling growout)
2 spots are already taken by White Fatalii and CGN-21500.

These Plants will be the Base for all my other crosses. Meaning that I will use pollen from plants that are outdoors in the rest of my collection crossed with these. These will be tagged and harvested and grown out in the basement to choose phenos. I'm planning on going for taste more than heat.

Plants to choose from

My biggest focus will be crossing the White Fatalii with CGN-21500 but will do plenty of other crosses with them as well.

Once the poll is complete Thursday night- the two winning plants will be moved to the hydro system and this thread will serve as my grow log for this project.

Y'all are more than welcome to offer suggestions as to what you would like to see crossed with what as well. I'm sure I will be sharing seeds with most of you at some point (prolly F2? maybe some F1's)

side by side phenos of El Scorponero. Really like all of them. So hard to choose what to keep. There's another light yellow pheno that's starting to turn color. Haven't gotten fully ripe pods yet.

Phenos of D3 Goat. Like you said, the pale yellow / almost white has a really nice shape

Omni bonnet bush. The baccatum pheno super productive. Looks very much like the mother. Maybe slightly more hot. Can see the other light yellow pheno of El Scorponero top   right corner of pic. I like the shape.

All pods off the baccatum plant.

The other two have hardly any pods but this one's starting to produce a decent amount of flowers.

Dark green pod

Third plant

Very light colored pod. Bigger than the other two phenos. Not sure what color it will turn. I'd be so happy if it had a few color phases.

11 El Scorponero plants everything from f2-f4. The oranges all are pretty similar. Just some minor variations like wall thickness and bumpyness

1 pod from each plant

Bottom left, center red and  probably both bright yellows are the ones i'm sending to SentencedToBurn. I  got some  dried already and will get the last  few  drying  tomorrow.

Giant pheno D3 Goat.  Saving  seeds from that beast. Still bitter and hot as hell.

Haven't tasted these  yet. Either f2 or  f3 of 7pot burgundy x cgn-21500. My plant tags all faded this year. Crappy ink.

Another good week of sunshine and the pods are colouring up nicely .... my “maybe not an omni bonnet” is producing well however still the pods remain barren of seed. Great floral taste and heat

Having revisited both your glogs I believe a possible seed mix up has given me the opportunity to grow your “Aji Amarillo x Carib Red Hab” .... leaf, width of plant, flower point that way ... what do you think

Finally the best yellow there is “Pale Yellow Goat”

I mentioned that I had a similar like pod to the Pale Yellow but Red .... growing thirty eight varieties I may have had a seed mix and given you another variety... nothing else in my grow looks like these two

I only grew 3 plants. Bet if I grew 10-20 they all would look a little different. the low seed count sort of confirms omni bonnet though as mine have barely any seeds as well. f1 I got like 1-2 seeds a pod if any.

The pale yellow looks pretty uniform with the ones I have. Nice shape on the red pheno. Bet they are brutally hot. Wish they wasn't so bitter though.

You mean "cool shape" or are there different phenos of it? I really haven't paid much attention to them to be honest. I have 450 3.25" pots.

I think cool shape was similar to the limon but slightly different wall thicknesses and flavor
