Obamer Could Care Less

I'm tired of health care crap these days - as a needy customer,NOT just because I have health problems in general.
I just spent YEARS (2005 till a year ago) being treated as a Hypochondriac instead of a person who was actually sick,I turned out to be Cancer patient with stage 3 Lymphoma B .
OOPS we messed up....
 
Today I saw a quack who took my primary care doc's place.(after 2 months of cancelled appointments)
(He ,the old doc.,quit because he couldn't handle Kaisers crap anymore-especially after obammer care).
 
Today,I wanted to know about stuff I have been having problems with AFTER Chemo.
AFTER THE FIRST APP.WAS RE SCHEDULED MONTHS AGO.
The new idiot ended up saying nothing except the visit was a MEET AND GREET!
Screw that crap.
I NEVER MEET TO GREET ANYONE ON 1/3-1/4 of my weekly paycheck before taxes.
Especially a quack.
Didn't even get to see a female nurse to fantasize about..just some guy that tossed me a hospital robe to wear.
 
I won't be back to see the quack anytime soon.
 
I don't get it.
 
I gotta wait months to see a quack THOUGH I DO have problems since Chemo.
Possibly LIFE threatening stuff.
BUT the 11 o clock appointment was at 1 because all the obamer care people with kids who had a cold were taken first.
After the meet and greet thing she said don't bother with her-go to emergency...or whatever.
 
I ended up being ignored since 2006 as a hypocondriac when I had early Lymphoma.
Wasn't diasgnoses until I had no neck due to swollen glands.
EVEN though my blood tests sucked for years (from 2005 ).
When diagnosed at stage 3 and at 60 yrs. old I had a 20% chance of survival...
 friends who make WAY more $ a day/week/year,WITH Union crap are getting extra or free health care because they have families.
I am single,no kids etc.
During Chemo I couldn't get ANY kind of food stamps OR assistance from the State or Feds.
I have to get assistance from Kaiser every few months.
I take home less than min. wage but work 5 14 hr. days a week and 2 16 hr days on weekends.
BUT I'm not a minority with kids-as told to me by a social worker.
I gotta be 65 or older for help.
I know dopers and other people who are leaches that collect $ AND have free everything every month that qualify for a free ride on my taxes.
BUT I was consideredTerminal for a couple months and couldn't even get food stamps during Chemo.
 
Gotta LOVE the Liberal assholes that rule these days.
Especially in CA.
If I was a minority(race wise)  with a dozen kids I'd get all kinds of aid.
Since I'm not AND am working for LESS than min. wage I don't count.
 
Ya I'm pissed,I almost died because nobody cared.
Obamer care,reform?
What a joke!
They want people to pay,not to care for those in need.
 
Gonna get worse.
At least I'll be dead I think before 90%of my pay goes for taxes etc.

That's some fucked up bullshit. Just reading that got my blood boiling. I hope things somehow work out for you and you find a doctor that actually gives a damn and you get the help you need. I've read some threads on a couple forums about your illness but never knew it was that bad. I'm glad you beat the odds. I care as well. Be well

Just more crap and proof as to why I don't trust or use standard medical care. I will go out of the country when something really serious like this happens, because our doctors here don't know or do shit. How can a specialist know anything when the entire system operates in a vacuum? Its sick care, and not designed at all to help and heal, only to manage symptoms for future profits. That is why that whole system can go to hell as far as I am concerned. If I get cancer here is where I will go to actually receive real care.  http://biocarehospital.com/Unless I need emergency health care, I stay away and use alternative medicine. Its one of five different centers around the world I would use. Anything mainstream and designed for the masses I run from.

30 years I had the same doctor, he knew my name, my wife's name, my kids names and my horses names. Five years ago he finally retired. It's been down hill from there. I'm treated like a number. They don't remember the last time they saw me or my symptoms although I was in just yesterday. They tell you if your really sick don't come here go to the emergency room and wait 8 hours to see some intern. All the doctors and nurses seem to hate their jobs and their customer service skills reflect it. Yeah brother, I feel your pain. It really sucks and I'm really sorry that your illness surfaced during this generation. I'm about to retire next year and I'm scared as hell as to what kind of medical care I will receive in the future. Hang in there.
 
 I feel for you my friend !  had so many family and friends that had cancer, lost both my parents to that shit ! my mom last year . the cards are stacked against us and its a shame ! all that fancy technology out there , cell phones, computers, laser guided Missels, men up in space,satellite, you name it its  there . but to actually put money for a cure forget it ! their not having it . they much rather invest where money can be made .  ( special interest ! ) i always said , " i don't trust a one from the president down to the city alderman ! Gosh I could go on even longer about the medical establishment and all the ancillary systems that are a part of it.
 
Keep donating to all those cancer charities. Otherwise they wont have the funding to keep track of how the eugenics program is going.
 
Maybe in another 20-30 years we can drop the avg life expectancy even more.
 
Aside from that, youve got a 2nd chance. Live life.
 
I truly extend my sympathies towards you! I am in a similar situation with this crappy healthcare system-
 
Just re-applied for the 3rd time for Govt. financial assistance – all to no avail.  I just had my food assistance stopped one week ago until I can complete some new forms which will entail a new doctors visit (out of pocket pay... my father has to cover this, he has no income- only retirement pay + all his other (personal) expenses. He is literally my singular life line, I’d be dead without him (mom is dead from cancer, no other family or friends an option- I’d be ‘OK’ toughing it out being homeless or such – life experience/adventure!- but I’m only existing and in no way can even go more than several hours between meals without nearly passing out let alone supporting myself, especially on the streets, hence I had to move back home. He mentions without some aid soon- we may be in such severe dire straits.  Great!
 
Think they won’t help me because I’m not past retirement age. If they could only see me (thinking of sending pics as a last resort- obviously can’t go the court/lawyer appeal route due to $) I’m 5’10” and down to a whopping 108 pounds (lost 60lbs. plus)- look like a concentration camp/gulag prisoner.  Won’t bore you with all the compound of problems I’m dealing with, just give you an idea-
 
-- Spinal/neck disruption affecting signal to ‘down below’, thus insanely low ‘T’ production (total tested was 34 when my age should be more near 1000 and higher- doc said it was the lowest he’d seen in 20+ years practice- prepubescent girl low.. how nice!) This leading to the severe weight loss/muscle atrophy/ severe inability to even function (think and formulate speech, memory almost shot)etc.. The above mentioned food issues/metabolism/new intolerances out of the blue… you get the gist. Then the bowels..haha..-
 
-- Peppers are quite literally helping to sustain my existence-  I’ll just say when your bowels completely shut down and you have to enema for a year plus just to go #2- things will get or develop into a worse condition (don’t google anal prolapse + stage 3 or 4 ‘roids that can bleed.) A true downward spiral- one condition effects or causes the other, which causes another problem (two new ones being ‘pressure sores’ on my backside (look that up on google images! Only mild, but still.. they can turn abysmal)– have to sit most all day which causes/makes such worse. Be thankful if you have any fat layer padding your hip bone and skin from any hard surface- extremely painful!
 
 Peppers are the only thing that to a degree (not totally 100%) help without hurting – reduce/ease inflammation, keep things ‘moving’, etc.. a God send. (have to have food money or I can’t then afford even this ‘medicine’..gr..) Still have a constant fear of bleeding out while sitting all day, or having issues in public, getting sick even… which would be pure hell (plus the attendant weight loss for sure..) Won’t detail my now ‘normal’ routine when I go- can’t do such in public/workspace, or even if I were livin’ homeless, that’s for certain!- it’s crazy, but I have to do what I have to do.  (I’ll just add I am no longer grossed out by any waste, let alone my own by now..hahaha, been exposed to it all by now)
 
And those are two of the biggies, there are many ‘side effects’ that come along with it.
 
The Gov’t doctors just don’t get all this- at my age if I haven’t lost a leg or something, they seem to think a slap on the back and your all ok!
 
ALL are 100 % treatable (and were preventable if I could have seen a doc to begin with!) but I need the Govt. assistance to help out.
 
So I def. sympathize with you. Hope you make a full recovery /and or get all the help you need. 100% blessings and well wishes your way!!
 
I now have to go to the DMV (and yeah, I can no longer drive either..) to update my ID for those new forms (more insanity!!)
