Made My First Sauce

I ordered some pods from Wicked Mike the other day, they arrived today so i decided to make a sauce! The peppers i used were red brainstrains
The recipe? well i winged it. I threw the quartered peppers, a white onion, and 3 cloves of garlic into the blender with some salt, apple cider vinegar, and blended away (sorry bad phone pics)
Sauce simmering for 20 mins
The sauce blended one last time then strained

Finally the sauce all put in jars and ready to go in the fridge!

This stuff is :hot: One spoon full really lit me up :onfire:  great flavor though, the peppers really shine. The consistency is a little thicker than tabbasco, it might thicken as it sits in the fridge. Hopefully when I have more peppers to mess around with I'll try my hand at a ferment. Anyways thanks for looking!

Congrats on bottling your first sauce.  It looks killer!  Like you, I made my first batch earlier this year. The color of your sauce was very similar to mine.
Mike is a good pepper guy. Keep experimenting!

It's a great sauce I just wish I had the pepper resources currently to do a ferment, it would of definally had a different flavor. Once i get some pods from my plants i'll start one!

Great first effort!  Wicked Mike puts out quality produce and you did them pods proud.   :)
Wicked Mike was very generous and his pods were in great shape and extremely hot too.
