i just finished multiple different ferments and on the bottom of one of them there is a little bit of milky white stuff. Is it kahm yeast? because i've only encountered that on the surface.
with a little research i found it is healthy sediment crated from the beneficial bacteria.....it's is just the first time i've seen it on the bottom.....
I usually see white sediment at the bottom of long ferments - we do fermented green jalas w a bit of garlic and onion that go for about a month on the counter and they will 'cloud' with said bacteria. When they hit the fridge the suspended sediment falls to the bottom.
