Hey man your Scorpion plant looks different than mine for some reason which doesnt make any sense since you were the one who sent it to me. This is what my Scorpion looked like about 4 days ago:

My scorpions look like Necros, so I gotta agree with him. Did you maybe mix up some pics by mistake. Your plant doesn't look like any scorpion plant I've ever seen.

Nevertheless, good pix and healthy looking plants!!!

I am wondering if since they are the same seeds but two different looking plants if it is not the different nutes you guys are using...reason I ask is I was using botanicare vegetative formula for my contest nagas and they got really tall because it had "auxin" and I also used superthrive every time I watered...the Naga Morich I planted at the end of January (30 days later than the contest nagas) are only about 24" tall and bushy but the contest nagas are 5 1/2' tall and I honestly don't think the plants will grow 3 1/2 feet in a month...and yes, these nagas came from exactly the same seed stock...just a thought...I only gave my "prize" plants the "special" treatment and the others just got average care...

botanicare vegetative formula never heard of that A.J but the results speak for themselves don't they, massive difference in size and thank you for the information buddy :);)

not an advertisement for Botanicare but I thought I would share what I use for starting my plants and treating some of the plants special...

I use the pure blend gro series of nutrients...I use the vegetative formula for growth and then transition to the fruit/bloom later along with liquid karma and cal-mag...

I think Nute uses Botanicare products too...

check out the pictures of the cayenne plants that are harvested after 12 1/2 weeks...(current testing grow room 1)

http://www.americanagritech.com/growroom/growroom.asp?ID_PK=13

one of the guys at our local hydro shop was involved in this testing before he opened his own shop and that is how I became aware of the botanicare products...they are expensive for mass production but are OK for a few plants...stuff costs about 50 dollars a gallon...

I am using BioBizz for about two weeks now, so it is a bit early to say if their range is any better than the tomato nutes I used before that. They're also not exactly cheap, but I just had to give them a try. If I manage to grow as many plants as I'd like to next year, it may become a bit too expensive though!!!

Here's the thread:

Thanks for the info about the nutes you're using AJ. I don't think they're available outside the U.S....!??! (Not that this'd make the info less valuable to most of us! :)) Correct me if I'm wrong!

I also considered using Superthrive, but I think it's not necessary now that I am using a mix of 5 outta 6 nutes (I am not using the Root Juice atm, but I bought a set so it kinda came for free and I can keep the bottle for next year!).

Necro, your scorpion looks great...I don't know what you are using but it is very healthy looking and bushy... bushy = more nodes = more peppers IMO so I don't know what to tell you...if the plant was not healthy I would say use the vegetative formula until you start seeing buds forming, then switch to the bloom/fruit formula... it never hurts to add a couple of supplements that is why I use the Cal Mag and Liquid Karma....

you need to just keep on keeping on with what you are doing...like I said, the plant looks very healthy to me...they are not real fast growers anyway...so just be patient and let time run its course and you will have some wonderful pods...remember...tall is not always a good thing, but IMO bushy is....tall AND bushy works too....

If you use auxin (a hormone that stimlulates cell elongation), you could suppress lateral bud formation which is controlled by cytokinin...

here is a pretty good brief read on the subject...

And thanks to Pam (God I miss her)...I learned about these photohormones this year....I am just scratching the surface when it comes to these growth regulators...

Hey and yes,,,I`ve had these guys with the rest of my plants in a soil that came out of my creek. Some of the best I have here for planting. As for after market---- water, fish imulsion, minor miracle grow and epsum salt.I`ve got 12 hab plants hanging now with better than 75 peps each and they have acted strange .Does anyone elses plants shed their big leaves and bring on monster small growth?I`ll try to post new pics within a day or 2 and yall can answer.I`m 99% sure I didn`t screw up on id.My 1st batch for these plants so unless i was got 1 instead of 4 and then necro got the real?Hell you got me.Got pods going now and will post them and then hell I`ll know. Rich

Ok here are 3 plants which are the same ones that came with the 1 I sent necro. No mis-labeling as I went out this am and went over it again when I took this last photo this morning on my way to work. All of my plants that came with that order are over 2 ft tall easy. What gives?I`m not complaining being as all plants are happy as hell! The bhuts and nagas are over 3 ft?Fatali`s are easy 2 ft.Not sure what to say but if any idead let me know. Thanks

both your plants look good and healthy...I was just curious if these came from the same batch, why was one short and bushy and the other one tall and lanky...like mutt and jeff if you know what I mean...
