Ghost pepper one is absolutely horrible, spent almost $10 on a bottle and threw it out. Uses extract and is bitter as hell , insainly hot though.
Might be talking about a different bottle because this one 80 dollers

Just had a look. It's the regular Dave's ghost sauce. It's $80 cos it's a 12 pack.

I found it for sale locally in individual bottles. I bought the last one on the shelf today. When I tried it before, I liked it. It was the first hot sauce I ever tasted that I had to actually be careful not to use too much of.

Yea that's the nasty stuff. There's plenty of good sauces out there among the novelty sauces but sadly most novelty sauces sacrifice all sense of flavor and enjoyment for bitter heat. The vast majority will agree they don't like sauces that use extract. I'm sure there's a few that do it right but most are horrible horrible bitter sadness and disappointment.

If you want to try a good sauce I recommend Lucky Dog Hot sauce black or pink label. Not as hot as daves extract horror but amazing taste and still a decent heat.

I like Mrs. Renfro's sauces, too. There is a jar of the ghost pepper sauce in my kitchen cabinet right now. She has a green sauce without tomato in it that is just jalapeño sauce that seemed hotter to me than the ghost pepper, but it has less flavor. There was a tequila sauce that I tried recently, but it didn't seem to be anything special. My plan is to get some AM Crunch Wraps from Taco Bell and to add Mrs. Renfro's ghost pepper sauce to them.

At Buffalo Wild Wings today I tried a sauce they call Blazin that has been changed to include ghost peppers. It was actually spicy. I think it was another one with extract for the heat, though. It isn't something I would buy by the bottle.
