You have to link to it from off site. I think uploading pictures is only for extreme members.
Basically get the link of the image (direct link ending in .jpg) and then use the following format.
If you use imgur, it strips out the meta/exif data (location and image data), and can provide you with a direct link in the above format that you can just copy paste.
That said, the iphone app doesn't yet have upload capability, so you are still gonna have to use a computer if you wanna use imgur.
Alternatives are Flickr and Photobucket. Not sure if either of their IOS apps will give you the type of link you need though.

The best way on a PC is to use Alt + F4 at same time, post pictures very fast.
