pics FoxFarm Soil Experiment Results (w/pics)

As you guys know, I dumped a shit ton of money on FoxFarm Ocean floor soil. I also baught one or two bags of their Tree Frog soil to fill two pots. Well, the results are in......this is the best soil I've ever used!

The plants are HUGE!

And the leaves are the largest I've ever seen.

The plants are shooting out flowers to the best of their ability and the growth rate of the fruit is stupifingly fast. I have a Fatalii (pics to come when it stops rainging) plant who's pods went from the first appearance of the pod after flower drop to mature size (not color, just size) in one week. ONE WEEK!!!!!!

It may cost you $20 a bag, but this soil is liquid gold! :onfire:

That is very impressive the way I see it those leafs are really huge & plants very healthy you can ask for better of that.

I would love to use that stuff IGG but it would be absolutely cost prohibitive for me....

plants look very healthy....good job

One of my plants had massive leaves before it got flower buds, I think it was just the type of plant with mine though. I do have little hands which maybe made it look bigger. So $20 must be around £10.

My hands are massive though....long fingers, wide hand...piano players hands crossed with a giant as it were.

Ya, around there.

erm seen the soil and there nutrients when i picked some autopots up..gonna pop back again and get a bag for next season on a few trial plants..nice post as ever I.G :)

I can't help but admit that the results are impressive, but - aside from the fact that I couldn't buy this soil over here anyway - it'd cost a fortune to buy that for the number of plants I prefer to grow. Good work though, the plants and pods look fantastic! [Thumbs up]

Thanks. I do agree it's not possable to do alot of pots unless your rich. I generally only do 10-20 pots each year and this year I only did about 13 pots and that cost me $60 in soil.

IGG, that's $20 for what amount of soil?? Im curious because over here the only brand name soil I can get is Schultz for about $10 a cubic meter.

The Ocean floor is $20 for 1.5 cubic feet and the Happy Tree Frog is about $17 for 2 cubic feet. The Ocean Floor seems to be the better one.

Wow, I'd be broke before I filled 1/3 of my pots at that cost. :)
