Best for indoor / low light ?

Wife now wants pepper plants in the south facing windows year round.  Wondering what variety folk think would live and live well under such a low light condition.  Production doesn't much matter. Wouldnt mind fresh pods in the middle of winter, but looking mainly for green in the window.

Question: is the bottom of that vase ported (have drainage holes)? Want to grow in something similar, and trying to figure out optimal drainage conditions without drilling holes.

Answer: no, no drainage holes.

Here is a wild thought: If you are opposed to the idea of buying a diamond drill, why not see if there are any ceramic shops in your area?  Not sure if they exist anymore.  Used to be a fad.  Even had coffee shops that were set up for making ceramics.  Generally you buy a vase or what ever in a green state and finish it yourself.  Then they fire it for you.

If you got kids, it could be a fun family activity.
