im in south east pa aka philly I started mine in February so depending you might be on track

I'm picking pods already and I plated may 18th. But I was already starting to get pods when I planted out. I started germinating peppers late january.

@Baseman:  I'm in Easton.  I got my plants at Cross Country last week of May.  They seem to be progressing well.  My Habaneros and Thais and stuff are  full of peppers.. but none of the Scorpion, Jolokia or Reapers (one of the Reapers doesn't even look like it will make it sadly)  Some flowering but no pods on any of them.  I thought they were all late season so I wasn't worried.. now you have me scared.

First year trying to grow and was just feeling somewhat comfortable about it.. now I hear everyone is picking pods in similar weather.

You should be fine I started late December got them out full time at the end of May, I'm only harvesting now because I started so early and had room to get the plants up to flowering/ podding. When it's warm and humid the plants will blow up.

My big hab has a decent 20 pods and all my annums are doing fine. It got cooler and rainy past week. So less activity I guess. All but the bhut jolokias have flower buds (a lot of them)

No pics atm but I seem to have these too on my yellow bs...One of em anyway. Wonder if we got the same seed source

Nattimari I wouldn't be worried there is plenty of time left in the season. This year has been hard with all the rain and cloudy days. But like the others have said once it does finally show some sun for us you'll be ok
